Forged from an idea that storytellers have an
inherent gift of transforming the way
humans see and interact with our living planet.

WHO WE ARE
Forge & Field Notes is a slow media storytelling collective that crafts thoughtful, decolonial narratives of human relationships with each other and the environment. As a business owned and operated by women of color, we are dedicated to helping cultivate resilient communities rooted in environmental justice, while stirring humanity’s curiosity for ecological exploration.

WHAT WE DO
Forge collaborates with forward-thinking organizations and individuals committed to enacting climate action from the ground up. We craft compelling multimedia stories highlighting necessary environmental initiatives that inspire others to join the cause.

WHY WE DO IT
As journalists/storytellers, we have a responsibility to tell stories that bring accountability to the forefront. We will call out injustices, spotlight the climate defenders, and encourage everyone to get curious and find their role in the environmental movement.
We’re dreaming of the communal future we want to see, one based in ecocentrism, circular economies, reciprocal storytelling, and regenerative relationships. Forge works with brands who are curbing overconsumption, utilizing circular supply chains, and meeting communities’ needs. Our stories center the people and work of collectives that may otherwise not have sufficient media funding. As we tell stories on the ground and build sincere connections, we operate in solidarity with communities worldwide on the frontlines of climate injustice.

Let’s Forge Together!
Do you have a project or mission? We'd love to help tell your story. Let's inspire action together.
